Salthouse 10 'Landmark' - 8th July to 8th August
The North Norfolk Exhibition Project is delighted to present the tenth annual exhibition of outstanding contemporary art in the unique venue of Salthouse Church; a Grade I listed, light-filled, fifteenth century church, overlooking the North Norfolk coastline.
The exhibition offers an innovative and diverse range of new work including ceramics, drawing, installation, painting, printmaking, sculpture, text and textiles by 41 artists with a Norfolk connection, including: Roger Ackling, Bob Catchpole, Susan Gunn, Vanessa Pooley, Gordon Senior and Dom Theobald.

North Norfolk’s Christmas Market Our highly acclaimed Christmas Market will be held this year in the High School hall at Field Lane, Fakenham on Saturday 6th November 2010 from 10am til 3pm. This year we have more stalls than ever – over 80 – all selling a massive array of diverse items, including jewellery, fair-trade products, chocolates, homemade cheeses, chutneys, Art, stained glass, watches, handbags, lamps, cakes, cushions, sewing demonstrations, palm reading, clocks, blacksmith ironmongery and many, many more. Why not come and make a start on your Christmas shopping? There’s plenty of time to browse, to soak up the atmosphere and to ponder what to buy over tea and cakes. Have lunch at our fabulous restaurant run by our talented GCSE Catering students. They will be cooking and serving throughout the day and delivering fabulous food with a smile! Entry is totally free! Beccles Carnival Weekend - 21st and 22nd August
Beccles Carnival weekend is more than a traditional carnival parade. This years event takes place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August 2010. Over the Weekend we have lined up a great programme of events for the whole family to enjoy. Saturday sees teddy bears parade with judging of the best dressed teddy, entertainment from KSLYR with prize give-aways, fun and Games. With a fancy dress for children, displays and stalls, Sunday sees the Grand traditional Carnival procession through the Beccles Market town followed by Stocks Fun fair, displays and competitions and entertainment for all the family.
