Wedding Festival
Fri 12th Feb 2010 to Sat 13th Feb 2010
Just before St.Valentine’s Day on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th February, St. Peter’s Church Lingwood will be celebrating marriage. There will be a display of weddings through the decades, with dresses, photos, and recollections by couples about their big day. The local school children will be contributing by reminding us what life was like in those decades. The festival will end on Saturday at 2pm with a short service giving thanks for marriage.
Open 10:00am – 3:30pm. Refreshments available. Everyone is welcome. Entrance is free – come and enjoy!
